1st Place Presentation
The Mayor - Mitch Towlan of Huron-Kinloss proudly received the Longest Day of PLAY basket yesterday at Lewis Park in Ripley on June 29th, 2011. Recreation Director - Mike Fair; PLAY municipal representative - Kim Reid and PLAY in Bruce Grey Cathy Smart were in attendance. Everyone agreed that this was a fantastic way to encourage families to get out and be together - no matter what the age! Many of the kids had such a great time that they were talking about coming out to "PLAY" in the park every week...that is what PLAY in Bruce Grey is all about! The Mayor is looking forward to maintaining next years title - so the heat is on"!!
