Rob Thompson understands the value of physical activity. Prior to becoming a councillor Rob served on the police force for thirty-three years. Rob recently agreed to be the PLAY in Bruce Grey local representative for the Municipality of West Grey. He saw great opportunity promoting the "Shortest Day of PLAY" in his communities and ended up being the driving force ensuring that all school kids in West Grey had an opportunity to skate on December 21st! He was very happy with the turn out and hopes to build on both the Shortest and Longest Day's of PLAY in the future. West Grey is fortunate to have a councillor who truly believes in promoting increased physical activity along with community spirit! Way to go Rob and West Grey!!
